Games To Play: 2009

It’s a good thing I’m not interested in any games for the PlayStation 3 in a must-have way, given how many games I have for the PlayStation 2 which I haven’t played yet. Here’s the list:

Breath of Fire
Kingdom Hearts II
La Pucelle: Tactics
Legacy of Kain: Defiance
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2
Odin Sphere
Primal
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Shadow of the Colossus
Soul Reaver 2
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Unlimited Saga

+ a bunch of other games I started but never finished.

Then there are the PC games:

Civilization IV: Colonization (SecuROM 7)
The Witcher

+ a bunch of other games either half finished or not even started yet.

I’ll be occupied for years to get through all of them. Let’s hope that it still is some time before a really great, must-have PlayStation 3 game turns up.

• Legaia: Duel Saga (PS2) – started it once

Here’s a list of games I started and haven’t finished yet or which are waiting to get to 100%.

100%-games:

• Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando (a few skill points)
• .hack // Quarantine Part 4 (Item Completion Event, Getting Mia back)
• Jak 2 / Jak 3 (not very likely)

Games I still need to finish the main story line (abandoned for various reasons):

• Champions of Norrath (crashed a few times)
• Arc: Twilight of the Spirit
• Summoner 2
• Jade Cocoon 2
• Legaia 2: Duel Saga
• Drakengard
• Gladius
• Scaler
• Beach Volleyball – Summer Heat (not sure about this one)

Playing now and then, but unlikely to do much more or finish:

• SSX 3
• Gran Turismo 3 / Gran Turismo 4

Maybe I should think about some kind of deal: if I want to start a new game, I first have to finish one of the games on this list. This might also free some space on my memory cards …
