Re-Reading “A Song Of Ice And Fire”

14 Oct

I went and got the 4th part of George R. R. Martin’s fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire without using my gift certification from amazon. A typical case of “see it, want it” in the book store.

I’m not sure what to think about A Feast for Crows. The writing is as good as ever but it’s “slower” than the others. That’s probably because I thought some parts a bit superfluous. Maybe their function will be clearer after the next one is published.

In the meantime, I decided to read the whole series again. My memory sure can need some reminder about who’s who and what’s what and so on. And maybe then I’ll know what to make of A Feast for Crows.
