Vacation Pics
Two weeks on a Greek island: Kos
We got lucky with our hotel. It opened in May this year and therefore, the rooms were still offered for a reduced price.

Here’s what much of the island looks like:
The view from our balcony. The mountains in the background on the left are Turkey.
There are beaches
and there are mountains.
We saw thistles that are taller than I (and I’m rather tall). The pic was taken in a field of thistles inside the ruins of a fortress. Actually, the whole fortress was covered with these thistles.
The most stunning feature of the hotel: the pool (around 100 m/328 feet long). Very serene. I loved it!

So beautiful! All the lovely blue water and what a landscape! Wow.
Such beautiful picture!! I have to say, I really like the last one!!
is that all the pictures we’re going to see from your >750?
Such a pretty place! I LOVE the pool – makes one feel like one can swim out to the ocean.
Carolyn – yes, there are some great spots on Kos. We loved exploring them.
Nath – LOL and thanks. Well, quite a few of the >750 pics are of the pool. I just loved it! And stepping out on the balcony usually went like this: “Oh my, this is beautiful. Let’s take a picture!” LOL
Jace – you’re right about what the pool feels like. I loved swimming in it or just looking out at the ocean over it. I miss it.
